Who is George Floyd?

Updated: Jul 26, 2020

Functioning of American Society is Inexplicable.

GEORGE FLOYD OBITUARY (1974-2020)

George Floyd, 46, died while being arrested for passing a counterfeit twenty dollar bill in Minneapolis, Mn., (USA) on May 25, 2020.

George was a lifelong drug addict and career criminal whose interests included selling cocaine and fentanyl, robbing defenceless women during home invasions, and spending time in prison.  George, unsurprisingly, tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl, two of his favourite recreational drugs. George recently moved to Minneapolis to get a “fresh start” and to leave Houston, where he had accumulated at least three convictions for drug offences and aggravated robbery while armed with a firearm.

George is survived by several children from several different mothers, none of whom had seen him for years because he was only recently released from Texas State Prison after serving a five year sentence for his robbery conviction.

Funeral services were held on various dates all over the country to honour this ‘pillar of society’.   Mourners were invited to join violent demonstrations to honour George's memory.  Looting and burning other peoples property seemed like a nice way to honour George's memory.

  • George Floyd's brothers and sister opened a 'Go Fund Me' account to 'help the family'. It has already raised over $14-million and still counting, from donations as of June 8, 2020.

  • This is amazing! For a guy who was arrested nine times; was a convicted drug dealer (and was transacting a drug deal the day he died); held a gun to the stomach of a pregnant lady while his five buddies robbed her home; did prison time three different times totalling about eight years. And this crazy nation called 'America' is memorialising him by painting murals of the guy on the sides of buildings like he's a hero. Unbelievable!!

America is a superpower and with the second largest GDP in the world.

  • Where the 'poor' enjoy a standard of living higher than the middle class in many countries.

  • Unbridled by caste, religion, colour, race, or social status, America is a land of opportunity for those wiling to work hard.

  • 'Where money talks and bullshit walks'

Yet, there is so much strife, and what could be causing it?

Is the American economic, social, justice system, malfunctioning or even broken? Or is this a comedy unleashed by politicians, special interest groups, criminals, ideologists and the media?
