Oscar Wilde observed this hundred and fifty years ago, and we are observing it even today. The difference is now we do not even pretend.


All exploitation is bad, but when it is flashed about openly and even considered a positive trait, its vulgar, and inevitably the cause of both our failure and unhappiness.
