Listening to the politicians and their favoured media partners one is sometimes likely to be frightened, or even terrified.
Whatever be the case, one can certainly hope to be entertained.
At this time as the nation is gripped by poll fever, the viewer (TRP) ratings of comedy channels goes down while those of news channels rise. It would all have been so funny were it not for the stakes so serious.
The show must go on. In the world's largest democracy, there is almost unlimited freedom of speech which we abuse with enthusiasm. We also have infinite freedom of thought, which we rarely choose to exercise.
